Sometimes I feel like a parent when it comes to weddings. You know you’re not supposed to have favourites… but every now and then, you put the right ingredients together and it creates something pretty special.

There are certain places that just seem to produce genuinely wonderful people. Tasmania and Queensland are two states that, in my experience, seem to be full of warm, welcoming and wonderfully wholesome people who know how to enjoy themselves - and, importantly, know how to enjoy being part of someone else’s special day. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, surrounded by stunning locations and, most importantly, a truly gorgeous group of people. From the moment the day began, there was a wonderful sense of fun, connection and celebration. It felt less like everyone was simply attending a wedding and more like they were genuinely invested in being part of Christina and Liam’s story.

For us, those are the weddings that are the most rewarding to photograph and film. The ones where people forget about the camera, relax into the moment and simply enjoy being together. The laughter, the little interactions, the big celebrations and all those fleeting moments in between are what make a wedding gallery come alive.
