Carousel wedding of Adele and John

Carousel wedding of Adele and John

We shared a gorgeous day with Adele and John at their stunning inner City Melbourne wedding!  We began the day with John and his groomsmen at his family home in Brighton, it was lovely to see the banter between the boys and John's family as they readied themselves for the day ahead. I certainly didn't expect to hear John's dad was fond of a bit of clay shooting!  Following the boys we visited Adele and the girls at her family home, it was lovely to see the girls having a fun/relaxed morning prior too.  Adeles extended family had certainly started the party early as many close family were already at the home when we arrived.  Adele looked absolutely incredible in her Mariana Hardwick gown and stole the show as she walked down the wonderfully romantic spiral staircase to greet family below. With more than a few happy tears shared between the family (and me) it was lovely to be able to spend a little time with the Adele before departing to Sacre Coeur- Adele's former high school!  Sacre Coeur is a stunning church for weddings located inside a Melbourne high school and quite different to all the churches that I have ever visited, the placement of the church made for quite a long walk through the building for guests and Adele however made me feel even more cosy and excited to see these two to tie the knot!  Now I have to say I think the priest may have missed a few key items on the list prior to the kissing bit -  but that was totally ok as Adele and John. cetainly rocked the ceremony and had no problem going the kissing bit prior to the nuptials. Great job guys.  Following a beautiful ceremony with some lovely readings we had a bit of a mingle outside Sacre Coeur in the sun as well as a few family photos before taking a short drive to the St Kilda Botanical Gardens.  the Saint Kilda Botanical Gardens have to be one of my favourite locations for photography, I love the path and trees and the gardens always provide for a bit of fun people watching while we hang out and take a few photographs.  As we had a little bit of time up our sleeve and a stunning classic Mercedes Benz we decided to visit Beaconsfield Parade for some wedding photography before arriving at Carousel.  Carousel has to be one of the best views of Melbourne available and it was a perfect backdrop for Adele and Johns guests to spend a Summers evening.  Thank you both so much for having us along on your wonderful day.  Shannon.
